About Care Caradoc
Care Caradoc is Maria Jardardottir and Matthew Jennings. They began working together in Leeds in Spring 2007, and completed a debut album ’Everything Happens for a Reason’ in Spring 2009. Their pagan ballads seem rooted in European folk music, but the inventiveness and pop orientation of their songwriting take them well away from traditional folk territory, and towards a place more singular. Maria is involved in numerous other projects, all aimed at experimenting with the musicality of the human voice.
