Captain Polaroid is a solo artist from Birmingham, UK whose politically charged, often self-deprecating lo-fi recordings have earned him comparisons to Pavement, The Smiths, Bright Eyes and McCarthy. After the self-released album 'Spitting Facts, Splitting Fractions' in 2005 he released his second album, 'Other Short Stories and Better Works of Fiction' early 2007 on Filthy Little Angels, followed by a limited seven inch and a free six track acoustic EP.
