Captain Crossfader is a side project of Alex S Dewett, a Sheffield DJ and music producer. He is known for using samples from extreme opposite genres and styles of music, and mixing them together to make weird and wonderful but always original mash-ups. A reputation was gained for playing the inconceivable and unexpected, with no type of music being safe from his zany mixbag. Although never released to the public, Crossfader made 3 albums of home mixes around 2005
