About Canary Mine
Canary Mine is best described as "folk-hop". Their original songs mix elements of rock, country, folk, hip-hop and jazz. They include a lot of three-part vocal harmony and often have a humorous angle. The band is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and consists of James Lanbro (aka Jimi Maze) on guitar & vocals, Carl Welch on drums & vocals, Mim Adams on keyboards & vocals and Joe Arnup on bass. Two of Canary Mine's songs, "Cool Breeze" and "Rock Song" were featured in the Allan Moyle directed film "Weirdsville" in 2007.
