It all started in September 2006 when the australian "Queen of Pop-Opera" Sasha Matteucci met the 3 Berlin based musicians Andreas Bergmann, Daniel Busch and Marcel Lingner. From then on they worked out a proper set of selfwritten songs moving between Neo-Garage, Electronic-Opera and Ambulancic Sirens. The band themself named their style Krank-Wave. At the 20.06.2007 the first gig of Call Me An Ambulance happened during the "2nd international queer shortfilm festival" at the SchwuZ-Club in Berlin.
