About Cacai Nunes
Born in Recife, Brazil, and raised in Brasilia, Cacai brings his "viola caipira" or 10-srtringed guitar in his own approach through his experience in the fertile environment o Brazil's capital. The "viola caipira" was brought from Portugal to Brazil and quickly became close to the hearts of the local culture and played in many different ways all over the country. This instrument has turned out to rich possibilities and is directely related to Brazil's most popular traditions.
