C2H5OH was formed in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada by highschool friends, Matt Ramage (vox), Brad Good (bass), 'Filthy' Paul Ethier (guitars), Cam Schooley (guitars), and Kurt Comer. Since joining forces in 1997, they rose to be one of the most popular bands in their home town. They disbanded in 2002 due to creative differences.
