About BYU Concert Choir
BYU's Concert Choir (known as the Oratorio Choir prior to 1984) is made up of roughly 100 auditioned singers chosen annually from a pool of over 1000 hopefuls. Directed by Rosalind Hall, the choir specializes in a cappella works and performs a repertoire ranging from the baroque and sacred to folk and modern. They have most recently recorded a version of Eric Whitacre's "Her Sacred Spirit Soars" in collaboration with the BYU Singers for publication on Whitacre's upcoming CD (currently unnamed).
