"A fantastic session that was recorded at the cultural crossroads of the Paris scene of the early 70s! The session features a quartet led by trumpeter Clint Jackson III, featuring Byard Lancaster on alto and vocals, percussion by Keno Speller and Jonathan Dickinson, and bass by Jean-Francois Catoire that rumbles around underneath the whole performance, giving most of the tracks a nice little groove and a really heavy swing. Jackson and Lancaster come together in a reed style that's kind of in a melodic Albert Ayler mode
