About Butterwick
Butterwick was one of many monikers used by English pop / bubblerock songwriter John Carter. As Butterwick he released a single in 1972 entitled 'My Sweet Potato' (b/w 'The Thought of Losing You'). Carter had previously issued singles as Red Line Explosion, Scarecrow, The London Boys, Monsoon, Stormy Petrel, Kentucky Freeway and other nom de plumes. After the Butterwick single he went on to record as Frogg, Kincade and First Class.
