Burnt Weeping Eyes were a goth band from Palmerston North, New Zealand, formed in November 1993. Initially calling themselves Blind Idiot God, they swapped the Lovecraftian reference to one inspired by Percy Shelly when it was discovered that the name had already been used by another band. Comprised first of Jason Just (guitar/vocals) and Mark Grady (guitars), they were joined by Steve Densham (drums/percussion) and Adrian Dittmar (bass). In 1995
