About Burning Ambitions
"Burning Ambitions began circa 1991 in Quakertown, PA. The band was Doug, Chris, and Eric, three new wave/punk fans in an area still dominated by old Chevy Novas and hair farmers. And they were not even an hour north of Philadelphia. They did basement practices, high school talent show stuff, the usual. I met Eric at a flea market in spring of 1992 and he told me about the band. They played their first punk/hardcore show in June of 1992. They had a softer style, kinda emocore without the crying.
