About Bryan Harkness
It all started with an old guitar that lay abandoned at his grandfather’s house. Ten-year-old Bryan Harkness picked it up and lovingly replaced its strings. His grandpa taught him to play. By the time he was 11, Bryan quit playing baseball to study guitar. His musical career blossomed from there. At 15, Bryan jammed out with bluegrass groups in clubs surrounding Lufkin, Texas. Right out of high school he toured professionally for nearly four years with the legendary country and western singer Ray Price.
