Brooke Elliott is an American television, film, and stage actress, as well as a singer. She is perhaps best known for her role as Jane Bingum on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva. Elliott was born in Minnesota on October 31, 1974. Due to a job opportunity for her father, Elliott moved to Riverview, Michigan, in her junior year and graduated from Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in 1993. Elliott then went on to Western Michigan University, where she graduated and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance.
