About Broadcast Oblivion
Broadcast Oblivion, formed in the fall of 2002, is equal parts Coady Willis (Murder City Devils, Dead Low Tide, Big Business), Dave Hernandez (Scared of Chaka, The Shins), and Andrew Church (The Droo Church, The Supersuckers). Bringing together Hernandez’ angular pop structures (ala Husker Du) and set over a muscular rhythm section (closer to the James Gang than anything modern), Broadcast Oblivion are very loud and melodic.
