About Brie Neilson and Her Othermen
Although terribly shy as a kid, Brie soon found comfort on stage doing school musicals and singing in a classical choir for years in her hometown, Vancouver, BC. Abandoning music to study painting, she couldn't stay away for too long, and began writing and performing her own songs 6 years ago. In 2006, Brie packed her bags and moved to Montreal to pursue her artistic career. As a full-time member of The Unsettlers, who have just released a double album titled
