Brian Russell Cook is a mid-western multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who works mostly from a foundation that is based in American Roots Music. Roots music can mean many different things, and Brian enjoys the freedom of being able to move through the many styles that fall under the umbrella that is the roots. Brian’s 2010 debut album Mood Swings is appropriately titled. It touches on elements of the blues, country, gospel, soul, surf guitar, and rock and roll while maintaining a unique identity that unifies the many moods on the album.
