Brendan Welch (born 1984) is from Melbourne, Victoria. Subtle acoustic guitar meshes along side Brendan's mystifying and haunting voice, which is seemingly battle-scarred and weathered, but is in fact the dawning of a new creative force in roots music. Brendan was discovered only recently and up until late 2005 had never stepped foot inside a studio or played a gig. Word spread quickly of this young man, whose voice, styling and honest approach to song writing and performing attracted comparisons to Bob Dylan
