
BRANKO ARNSEK, jazz bassist Arnsek, Branko, bass; b. Celje (Slovenia), 29 April 1959. In 1960, emigrated to West Germany (Sindelfingen nearby Stuttgart). In 1968, he had his first piano lessons. In 1974, he founded his first jazz band. In 1976, he took classical contrabass lesson and performed with Mladost, the Yugoslavian folk ensemble in Stuttgart. In 1977, he did glass painter training, and played street music with accordion. In 1982, he founded the salsa orchestra Wawanxo.
