Brandon Johnson is a songwriter from Wilmette, Illinois. He started out on piano at five, but after several years quit due to disinterest in the type of music being taught. Brandon was also heavily involved with musical theater for a number of years, eventually leaving to pursue sports. Years later, he picked up the guitar with hopes of playing with his friends. When that failed to take shape, he continued learning on his own. Brandon attended Indiana University
