Bowery Boy Blue’s official beginning can be traced back to the winter of 2005 when Zeb Gould released the five song EP Bowery Boy Blue Gives the Kids What They Want, on the NYC-based Space Photo Records (SPR-LTD 004). However, the release of the EP and the subsequent shows that followed were the culmination of the years prior to 2005, in which Gould, newly arrived in New York City, began writing songs and releasing albums under the moniker Stereofan with his partner in crime (and now wife) Megan Gould.
