Boondock Brothers is an American Blues Rock band formed in 2012 in San Diego, CA. The band consists of Michael Schenk as lead guitarist/vocalist, Alberto Sandoval on drums and Shawn Peters (a.k.a Shawn Paul Jones) on bass, keyboards and mandolin. All three individuals are deeply inspired by iconic musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Little Richard, Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes, CCR, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, The Clash and much more.
