As seen in the town square of Old Prague City in September 2013, the Bohemian Bards' music is freely inspired by the music of medieval times from 13th until 15th century. The band uses replicas of historical instruments such as a bagpipes, shawms, cittern (cistre) and fiddle, but they also perform with contemporary instruments (bass guitar, modern drums). In addition to modern arrangements of medieval songs in Czech, Latin and Old Galician, the Bohemian Bards have written their own instrumental compositions.
