About Bobsleigh Baby
Bobsleigh Baby began in the east Rome scene as a drum/guitar duo playing what they called “superfluous and idiotic rock’n’roll,” which is to say stripped-down, to the point, excellent tunes: 60’s garage and girl group filtered through post-punk minimalism. Since those early shows, they’ve brought a mysterian organ and velcro-fuzz bass to the fold, they’ve turned up the Morricone on the guitar and the taunting in the vocals, and they’ve kept the songs catchy. Their new Improved LP goes deeper but stays concise. Check it out.
