About Bob Landers With Willie Joe And His Unitar
Bob "Froggy" Landers (a.k.a. Bob Lenarde) and Willie Joe Duncan recorded the track "Cherokee Dance" in 1956. Landers sang in his croaking voice (hence the nickname), while Duncan played his single stringed unitar. Released as a single, the b-side was a track called "Unitar Rock", attributed to Willie Joe & His Unitar. Very little is known about Landers, he recorded one other single, "River Rock", together with the Cough Drops in 1958. Willie Joe
