BluKomet is Stan Tangeman and Scott Fujawa, with occasional help from Bill Evans, Carlos Forster and John Blaylock. Tangeman and Fujawa came from different suburbs of Dayton, Ohio, moving to California in the 1980s. They met in college in San Luis Obispo, Ca in 1990, eventually moving to San Francisco and forming BluKomet in 1998. Pedal steel surf and hawaiian instrumental songs became their strong point after dabbling in several genres on their 2000 BetaPunks Release.
