About Blue Yates
Blue has an original and highly visual guitar sound influenced by South American Supper Club Cabaret and the Golden Age of the Flamenco Cafe. Blue will also release his first EP for solo piano 'Mechanisms for Piano' in June 2009. Operating on the independent Rekoba Sound Label, Blue's music forms a backdrop that transforms the listener into an atmospheric film environment and conjures a sound that can ‘encompass the shared identity of a shrinking modern world, whilst retaining a timeless, melancholic classicism.
