About Bloik
Born and bred in Nottingham UK, Bloik was introduced to the piano at an early age. He didn't take it that far but it gave him an 'ear for sound'. At 17, Bloik picked up bass guitar and taught himself to play. Early influences started with Punk Rock and Dub, and followed with 60's psyche, Funk, Drum and Bass, Triphop and Electronica. Bloik still plays in bands to this currant day. In 1994 he began his journey into sample based music, it took him a few years to find his production feet but he thrived on the challenge.
