Canadian post-rock band. The name comes from the south-african city, and in dutch means "flower fountain". An ambient, sleepy, dreamy post-rock sound, Bloemfontein have released one double album called "The Longer Now", containing only 9 tracks but lasting over 2 hours in length; the name of track 3, "comfortable, warm" aptly summing up the feeling of the whole album. Aswell as the doublealbum, they have self-released 3 improvisational cdr's, and a s/t singlealbum, aswell as an ep.
