Composer, performer, sound artist, writer Born 1977 in Melbourne, Australia. Presently based in Tokyo, Japan. Composing since 1994. Composing with computers since 1997. Graduated with honours in music from LaTrobe University, Melbourne, Australia, where research addressed the aesthetic influence and result of using particular software to create music. While completing an honours thesis and composition portfolio, Stickland was the principal organizer of a concert to celebrate music affiliated with LaTrobe University
