Blackstoneradio’s roots date back to early 2008 when Francois returned from abroad and started assembling his first musical project as a guitarist (being a drummer before). First an online ad for vocalist was placed - and so stepped in JC Malengret. JC’s natural ability to thread out catchy vocal-melodies amidst heavier’ rock arrangements got him the spot as BSR’s front man – and solidified the band’s distinctive hard rock yet ‘radio-friendly’ sound.
