About Bizarre Unit
Bizarre Unit is a electro, synth, minimal band from Birmingham, England, who existed between 1979 and 1982. The band members were Paul Nova (bass, synth), Mark Fane (vocals, guitar) and Christine Francis (synth, keyboards). They formed in late 1979 after the split of punk band 'The Rezizters' from Cannock, West Midlands, England; to pursue a more electro, synth, more futuristic, atmospheric sound. In September 1980 the single 'Dancing/Away From The Screaming Car' was recorded at MRS studios, Walsall.
