About Bitter Buddha
From Portland, Oregon, Bitter Buddha is a psychedelic indie rock group born out of the bedroom recording project of vocalist/guitarist Schuyler Keenan. The dreamy, atmospheric interplay between Keenan and second guitarist Weston Conat is anchored by the melodic basslines of Taylor Wolf and the driving drums of newest member Willhelm-Ihea Hendershot. The band began to take shape in late 2015, drawing sounds from a vast sea of influences including Modest Mouse, Animal Collective, and Sonic Youth.
