Big John Bates came out of late 90's second-wave psychobilly and carved a reputation with an infamous live show. Touring throughout Europe, Canada and the American underground punk circuit from Washington to Florida they played up to 150 shows a year. John began his career in the late 1980's as the singer and co-founder of thrash metal legends Annihilator. From 2000 to 2010 "Big John Bates & the Voodoo Dollz" were primarily a punkabilly band heavily influenced by the Cramps, often touring with a live burlesque show.
