Big Blue Sun are an independent musical collective based in Gloucester UK. They write songs inspired by the strange and commonplace happenings going on in the ancient historic English city of Gloucester, keeping busy spinning melodies, rustic beats and quirkiness into songs that crackle with storytelling charm. Their first album, Nocturnal City Journal, was released in November 2008. Three of the group (Dan Pierce, George Moorey and Shane Young) had performed together as "Ghosting" for some years
