About Beyond the son
Formed from high school friends in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, Beyond the Son started out as a four piece with the name of "Recapture" in the winter of 2003. After the departure of the original bassist, they spent four years honing their songwriting skills and searched for a solid commitment on Bass. At the end of the process three of the original members: Blake Penner, Justin Boulter and Kevin Madden agreed that in order to move forward the group would solidify its lineup as a three piece.
