Knoxville, Tennessee's six piece band "Beyond The Coast" is hardly what you would expect. Breaking the mold and rules of typical scene bands, Beyond The Coast mixes a modern contemporary sound with unique elements. One of these uniquities is violinist Megan Varner. In these parts, Varner's instrument is often known as a fiddle, but for BTC, the violin's sound gives the band a fresh twist on a classic style of music.
