Bettie Black, is the name formerly used by Liz Roze as of august 2009. Her new band is called Daughter Of Mars. After graduating SFSU with a theatre degree in 1997, Rose fronted several acclaimed rock bands in the SF club scene such as Glow and Runaway Bunny. This led to her first record, "Mega". Dark Wave ~ Goth ~ Rock.....although Bettie Black's music is often described as alternative, she rises above the modern titles. Her musical influences ~ and use of the color black ~ have strong roots in the past.
