About Betong Hysteria
Betong hysteria is often refered to as Norways first hardcore punk band. The band was formed in Oslo in 1981 by vocalist Geir Brurok, who was already known in the norwegian punk scene for his fanzine «The Moron», three former members of a punk band called Kaare og partiet and Carl O.S. Platou know from one of norways most important fanzines «City Rockers». Together they recorded the very famous 7" EP «Spontan abort» that came out in 1982 on Mind Expanding Records (MES 04).
