About Bernard Fichtner
Bernard Fichtner is an internationally experienced jazz guitarist, composer and arranger. Born in Canada, Bernard lives in Hamburg where he is an accomplished and sought after studio and stage musician. Early in his career he was inspired by the American guitarists John Scofield and Pat Metheny, as well as the Norwegian Terje Rypdal. Together with his band Soundcanvas, Bernard presents his first CD „Points of View“. This European (Nu) Jazz music demonstrates his unique style and reflects his earlier European and American influences.
