1.This is the only artist by this name 2.Having learnt music from the age of 6, benwaa (Ben Walthew) has been inspired by the emotion, feeling and freedom this gives. Starting out on the violin ben progressed to the trumpet and cornet at the age of nine and also the bass guitar at 14, on which he was self taught. Ben's musical tastes at this time lay firmly with guitar laden rock music, the likes of metallica, nirvana and also lo-fi acts such as sebadoh and palace brothers.
