About Beneath The Stares
Hailing from Chicago, Beneath the Stares creates a unique blend of progressive, heavy, melodic music with artistic sensibility that balances virtuosity with excellent songwriting. Erik Oldman and Bill Hamning formed the band in 2009 out of a shared desire to create a progressive music without boundaries or limitations, that would challenge but also engage the listener. Lisa LoGrasso joined soon after bringing thought provoking lyrics and a powerful and melodic voice to the mix.
