About Beneath the Aria
Formed some time in 2008, Beneath the Aria is a six-piece progressive metal band hailing from the western suburbs of Chicago. Influences include bands such as Between the Buried and Me, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Protest the Hero, and Painted in Exile among others. The incredibly heavy, technical guitar and bass work of Mike Hisson, Matt Baker and Danny Schmieder, coupled with a djent playstyle and the progressive percussion of Evan Brundage make for a very entertaining live show.
