Beautiful Burning World is a collective from Copenhagen, Denmark fascinated with the emission of sound. Composed of Maiken Bauer and Thomas Burø. Since its formation in 2009, Beautiful Burning World has pursued numerous ways to collect and create sound. By assembling manipulated field recordings from Cairo, Tel Aviv, Ramallah, Damascus, Ougagadougou, Copenhagen, the Swedish wilderness and creepy underground tunnels with equally manipulated recordings of guitars
