About Battery City
Battery City was unofficially put on the map in the fall of 2010 as a punk-rock band from Southport, NC. Guitarist and vocalist, Abby Piette, saw her graduation project on songwriting as the perfect excuse to start the band with drummer, Holland Watkins. Three home-recorded tracks later and they knew they couldn't stop there. In January, they had their name. In July, they released their debut album, Indirect Broadcast, which is available for free download here: www.batterycity.bandcamp.com
