About Basson Laubscher
Basson Laubscher is a guitarist from Stellenbosch, South Africa. He was previously a guitarist for the Afrikaans band Zinkplaat, and now performs with his band Basson Laubscher & The Violent Free Peace. His father and brother played guitar, and he picked up the guitar at age 15 when he first heard the guitar sounds of the great Stevie Ray Vaughan. He is respected as one of South Africa's great guitarists and has shared the stage with SA legends such as Gerald Clark (Delta Blue)
