Appearing from a mysterious point of origin and now based in Melbourne, Baron Samadhi is a chameleonic funked up four-piece party band unable to commit to any genre but fairly accurately described as “Disco Rock”. The sound is a dangerously spicy blend of Disco, Soul, Reggae, Dancehall, Jazz and pinch of metal thrown in a dance party pot and boiled till the lid bursts off. Starting out 5 years ago as a light hearted attempt to fuse the brooding sexual presence of the Doors with the funk of James Brown
