Formed in 2002, New Delhi based Barefaced Liar is an amalgamation of the distinct and eclectic musical taste of its members, Akshay Chowdhry (Vocals, Guitars), Sumant Balakrishnan (Guitars, Vocals) and Dushyant Purohit (Bass, Guitars). The band is heavily influenced by all time classic sounds of bands and artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Metallica while leaning towards a more modern sound in the style of Tool, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots etc.
