About Barbara Frittoli
Born in Milan, Barbara Frittoli graduated with the highest honours at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan where she studied with Giovanna Canetti. She later was the winner of several international competitions. Among her career’s most remarkable performances were Le nozze di Figaro (Contessa d’Almaviva) in Ferrara in 1994, Otello (Desdemona) at the Salzburger Österfestspiele (1996) and at the Teatro Regio di Torino (1997) under Claudio Abbado
