About Banjo Drill
Banjo Drill used to sing for Wigglepussy, Indiana and Blackcat Revival, whose sounds can best be described as "dark cabaret". With this first solo effort, Music for Humans, Banjo takes a different approach, crafting upbeat, fun songs that rock the block. On the surface, Music for Humans is a bluesy, spacey, gritty, danceable collection of pop oddities. The stories are told with whimsical imagery that sometimes border on the absurd and surreal. Music for Humans is like a party held under the flashing lights of a hovering spaceship.
